Dr. Phillips is part of our everyday service area. About 20 minutes south of our shop on Kirkman and the 435. We know what is behind these walls because we have been in them.
Dr. Phillips is larger custom homes built from the 1980s on, many on the Butler Chain of lakes. The calls here are panel replacements in homes that have outgrown their original service, lakefront and dock lighting, generators, and EV chargers in three-car garages. Bigger houses mean longer runs and more subpanels, so we plan the work before we cut.
"After getting the run around from other electricians I came across In Phase. Wish I found them first."
"Unlike some of their competitors, they don't try to up-sell products that aren't strictly necessary."
"Our old panel dated back to 1984 and was overdue for replacement. We worked directly with Keylin, who was outstanding from start to finish."
"Talking with anyone I mean anyone at this company is like talking with a best friend."
Every jurisdiction in Central Florida files differently and every utility releases a meter on its own schedule. In Dr. Phillips that means Duke Energy for service coordination and Orange County Building Safety Division (Dr. Phillips is unincorporated Orange County) for the permit. Our office runs both — you never call either one.
If a bid comes in dramatically below ours, ask whether the permit and inspection are in it. That is usually the entire difference, and it is the part that follows the house at resale.
Diagnosis first. If you do not need the work, we say so and leave.
Filed with the right office, scheduled, and tracked. You handle nothing.
The nearest available truck takes Dr. Phillips calls. He will text before he pulls up.
We meet the inspector, then close what we opened. One-year warranty.
Call and a human picks up. If we are on a roof, leave a message — you get a callback the same day, not next week.
