Apopka homes tend to sit on larger lots, often with a shop or outbuilding, and many owners want more lit than the front roofline.
Parts and installation, one price. Cost follows roofline length, how many stories, and which Govee line you pick. Govee sells one controller per 200 feet, so bigger homes need a second system.
If you could swap the city name out of this page and it would still be accurate, it should not exist. Here is what actually changes here.
Many older Apopka homes are single-story ranches with about 120 to 150 feet of roofline. That usually fits one Govee Pro system in our small-home range of $1,500 to $2,600.
On nursery and acreage properties, people often ask about lighting a barn, shop or detached garage too. Each building needs its own protected power, and a new outdoor circuit is permitted work we file with the City of Apopka or Orange County.
Older Apopka homes often run on wells, and many owners already think about surge after a storm. The Govee power supply is electronic like anything else, so it should sit on a GFCI-protected outlet in a protected spot. If you already have whole-home surge protection, it helps here too.
Newer subdivisions here are more standard: stucco, aluminum fascia and HOAs. Check whether exterior lighting needs approval before we install.
Same ranges we publish everywhere, because the work does not cost more just because of the zip code. You get an exact number at the free estimate.
William and Josh cover northwest Orange. You will have a name and a text before anyone is at your door.
"After getting the run around from other electricians I came across In Phase. Wish I found them first."
"Unlike some of their competitors, they don't try to up-sell products that aren't strictly necessary."
"Our old panel dated back to 1984 and was overdue for replacement. We worked directly with Keylin, who was outstanding from start to finish."
"…tried to over charge for work that was not even necessary. In Phaze offered an alternative option at a fraction of the cost."
Yes. We install permanent Christmas and Govee roofline lights across Orlando and roughly 30 miles around it, including Winter Park, Maitland, Lake Mary, Sanford, Oviedo, Winter Springs, Longwood, Apopka, Windermere, Winter Garden, Kissimmee and St. Cloud. If you are on the edge of that area, call and we will tell you straight away.
Most Orlando homes land between about $1,500 and $6,200 for the lights, parts and installation together, depending on roofline length and how many stories. That is a one-time cost instead of a seasonal installation and takedown bill every year. The pricing table on this page breaks it down by house size.
Yes. We order and install the current Govee permanent outdoor lines, including Permanent Outdoor Lights 2, Pro and Prism. Govee updates its lineup, so we confirm the current models and exact pricing at your estimate and recommend the one that fits your roofline length and the look you want.
It replaces one. Instead of hanging and taking down Christmas lights every year, we install permanent Govee roofline lights once. In December you pick a red and green or white scene on your phone, and the rest of the year you run warm white, game-day colors or party scenes. We are an electrician, so the power is done right as well.
If you pay for seasonal installation, takedown and storage each year, a permanent system stops that bill. How long it takes to pay back depends on what you pay now and your roofline length, so bring last season's invoice to the estimate and we will compare it with our price on your house.
All three are permanent roofline systems. Trimlight and Jellyfish are sold through authorized installers; we install Govee, which we order for you at retail list prices of roughly $350 to $860 per kit. We cannot quote what another installer charges, so get a written quote from each and compare the same roofline length.
Free estimate. If you do not need the work, we will tell you — which is why people in Apopka call us back years later.
