Sanford has some of the oldest houses we work on, and older trim and older wiring are the two things that shape a permanent light install here.
Parts and installation, one price. Cost follows roofline length, how many stories, and which Govee line you pick. Govee sells one controller per 200 feet, so bigger homes need a second system.
If you could swap the city name out of this page and it would still be accurate, it should not exist. Here is what actually changes here.
Historic Sanford homes often have original wood fascia and many coats of paint. Adhesive does not hold well on flaking paint. We check the surface and use clips or screw-down Prism where tape will not last.
Post-war bungalows here often have 60-amp services, no grounding and few outdoor outlets. Govee lights draw little, but the power supply still needs a GFCI-protected outlet. If a new one is needed, we file the permit with the City of Sanford Building Division or Seminole County.
If your house is in the historic district, ask the city whether exterior fixtures need review before install. Permanent lights sit tight to the roofline, but it is better to know before holes go in trim.
Homes facing the water often want the back roofline lit as much as the front. We measure both sides and tell you whether it fits one controller or needs two.
Same ranges we publish everywhere, because the work does not cost more just because of the zip code. You get an exact number at the free estimate.
Grant handles Sanford and north Seminole. You will have a name and a text before anyone is at your door.
"Grant wired our new kitchen project. We have used him two other times and plan on using him with our next project."
"…In Phaze sent 3 people for the job, which they completed in 1 day, even vacuuming up afterwards."
"After getting the run around from other electricians I came across In Phase. Wish I found them first."
"Unlike some of their competitors, they don't try to up-sell products that aren't strictly necessary."
Yes. We install permanent Christmas and Govee roofline lights across Orlando and roughly 30 miles around it, including Winter Park, Maitland, Lake Mary, Sanford, Oviedo, Winter Springs, Longwood, Apopka, Windermere, Winter Garden, Kissimmee and St. Cloud. If you are on the edge of that area, call and we will tell you straight away.
Most Orlando homes land between about $1,500 and $6,200 for the lights, parts and installation together, depending on roofline length and how many stories. That is a one-time cost instead of a seasonal installation and takedown bill every year. The pricing table on this page breaks it down by house size.
Yes. We order and install the current Govee permanent outdoor lines, including Permanent Outdoor Lights 2, Pro and Prism. Govee updates its lineup, so we confirm the current models and exact pricing at your estimate and recommend the one that fits your roofline length and the look you want.
It replaces one. Instead of hanging and taking down Christmas lights every year, we install permanent Govee roofline lights once. In December you pick a red and green or white scene on your phone, and the rest of the year you run warm white, game-day colors or party scenes. We are an electrician, so the power is done right as well.
If you pay for seasonal installation, takedown and storage each year, a permanent system stops that bill. How long it takes to pay back depends on what you pay now and your roofline length, so bring last season's invoice to the estimate and we will compare it with our price on your house.
All three are permanent roofline systems. Trimlight and Jellyfish are sold through authorized installers; we install Govee, which we order for you at retail list prices of roughly $350 to $860 per kit. We cannot quote what another installer charges, so get a written quote from each and compare the same roofline length.
Free estimate. If you do not need the work, we will tell you — which is why people in Sanford call us back years later.
