In Orlando the roofline decides most of a permanent light install. A College Park bungalow with wood eaves mounts differently from a Lake Nona stucco two-story, and the price follows the footage.
Parts and installation, one price. Cost follows roofline length, how many stories, and which Govee line you pick. Govee sells one controller per 200 feet, so bigger homes need a second system.
If you could swap the city name out of this page and it would still be accurate, it should not exist. Here is what actually changes here.
College Park and Delaney Park bungalows usually have wood fascia and exposed or boxed eaves, often with decades of paint on them. Adhesive-mount Pro lights need a sound surface, so we check the paint before we commit to tape or switch to clips or screw-down Prism.
Houses wired in the 1920s to 1940s often have no outdoor outlet near the eave, or one with no GFCI protection. The Govee power supply needs a GFCI-protected spot it can live in year-round. If that means a new outlet, it is permitted work and we file with the City of Orlando or Orange County, depending on your address.
Newer homes out here tend to be longer and taller, with stucco walls and aluminum fascia. A two-story front often runs past 200 feet once the gables are counted, which means a second Govee controller. We measure on site so the kit is ordered to your roofline, not a guess.
Downtown units rarely have a roofline you own. Balcony or patio LED strips can still work, but the building or association usually has a say on exterior changes. Get that answer first and we will price what is allowed.
Same ranges we publish everywhere, because the work does not cost more just because of the zip code. You get an exact number at the free estimate.
Grant and Victor cover most of the city core. You will have a name and a text before anyone is at your door.
"After getting the run around from other electricians I came across In Phase. Wish I found them first."
"Unlike some of their competitors, they don't try to up-sell products that aren't strictly necessary."
"Our old panel dated back to 1984 and was overdue for replacement. We worked directly with Keylin, who was outstanding from start to finish."
"…tried to over charge for work that was not even necessary. In Phaze offered an alternative option at a fraction of the cost."
Yes. We install permanent Christmas and Govee roofline lights across Orlando and roughly 30 miles around it, including Winter Park, Maitland, Lake Mary, Sanford, Oviedo, Winter Springs, Longwood, Apopka, Windermere, Winter Garden, Kissimmee and St. Cloud. If you are on the edge of that area, call and we will tell you straight away.
Most Orlando homes land between about $1,500 and $6,200 for the lights, parts and installation together, depending on roofline length and how many stories. That is a one-time cost instead of a seasonal installation and takedown bill every year. The pricing table on this page breaks it down by house size.
Yes. We order and install the current Govee permanent outdoor lines, including Permanent Outdoor Lights 2, Pro and Prism. Govee updates its lineup, so we confirm the current models and exact pricing at your estimate and recommend the one that fits your roofline length and the look you want.
It replaces one. Instead of hanging and taking down Christmas lights every year, we install permanent Govee roofline lights once. In December you pick a red and green or white scene on your phone, and the rest of the year you run warm white, game-day colors or party scenes. We are an electrician, so the power is done right as well.
If you pay for seasonal installation, takedown and storage each year, a permanent system stops that bill. How long it takes to pay back depends on what you pay now and your roofline length, so bring last season's invoice to the estimate and we will compare it with our price on your house.
All three are permanent roofline systems. Trimlight and Jellyfish are sold through authorized installers; we install Govee, which we order for you at retail list prices of roughly $350 to $860 per kit. We cannot quote what another installer charges, so get a written quote from each and compare the same roofline length.
Free estimate. If you do not need the work, we will tell you — which is why people in Orlando call us back years later.
